The Cooper Union’s budget consisted of both Federal grants and private funding sources that required strict documentation and approval processes.

Most efforts also required a submission and review by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. This project included various improvements and upgrades to both the building, and its infrastructure.

This project included the library; entry lobby; as well as the Art, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (AAEC) Lab. Behind the scenes, HVAC and other building services were brought to code. This project’s budget consisted of both Federal grants and private funding sources.
