Bristol Hospital’s Behavioral Health Unit was designed to give patient a safe place to explore their mental health.

In this behavioral health unit, a secure, but fully visible nurses station gives patients access to care whenever they need it. Intimate nooks flooded with natural light and soothing finishes were designed to encourage clarity of mind and space to reflection. Because every patient’s situation is unique, creating public and private spaces within the unit gives patients the freedom to process as openly or privately as they need.
