Describe your dream project.
This is a tough one! I think my dream project is one where I can completely run free with design and create something totally different from anything else that’s ever been done before. I also love the idea of incorporating WELL Building Standard ideas into a design including a plethora of biophilic elements and beautiful custom artwork.
How do you put a client’s goals before your own in a project?
I think it’s important to do this for every project. Like we always say, “It’s about you, not us.” It’s important to find the needs of the client and how they need to function in the space and start the design from there. That is why we always have a pre-design/programming phase before we even start initial concepts.
What does it mean to you to be 100% client-centric?
We want to create something that is a great experience for the client from the start of the project, all the way through to the end of the project when we hand the space over to them. The experience with the project should be fun and exciting and should leave you with a space that you are proud to say is yours.
