What is the most important tool of your trade, and why?
In my opinion, I think 3D modeling and realistic rendering has been a game changer in the last decade for designers. There is nothing quite like taking a 2D sketch in black & white and turning into an image that can be mistaken for a photograph. It not only helps the designers but is also a great tool to engage the clients and make them even more excited for the end result.
What inspires you most about your field?
What inspires me most about the field of design is being able to transform an idea into something beautiful and functional. It’s fulfilling to see a finished project knowing how much work went into every detail. This field is creative, colorful, and constantly changing, and that inspires me on a daily basis.
Describe the moment you realized [architecture/interior design] was for you.
I had fun rearranging my room as a teenager and giving suggestions to friends and family. I wanted to find a way to carry these skills into my daily life. Interior Design was the perfect way to be creative and technical and making a career out of it at the same time. This felt likethe right path.
